cOMMUNITY

We are pleased to help serve our local and wider community, from flock to further afield.

Our community endeavours and how you can help.

The Robin Cancer Trust.

We are delighted to be supporting The Robin Cancer Trust as our chosen charity of the year. This incredible local organisation raises awareness of germ cell cancers, such as testicular and ovarian, and provides vital support to young people and families affected by them.

To help their life-changing work, we have pledged to donate £25 for every Google review we receive. You can leave your review here. On top of that, our flock will be lacing up their trainers for marathons, hosting quizzes, and dreaming up other fun challenges to keep the donations flowing.
Because at Lamb & Co, community means everything, and when we can make a difference, we will (even if it means a few sore legs along the way!).

Hope @ Trinity

We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Angela from Trinity Methodist Church to chat about her incredible Hope @ Trinity project.

Founded in 2019, Hope @ Trinity offers warmth, food, and friendship to those in our community who need it most. From hot meals and clean clothes to sleeping bags and a safe place to talk, the centre opens its doors every Tuesday to Friday, welcoming anyone who could use a little hope and a helping hand.

We are very proud to be partnering with Angela and her amazing team to offer some assistance to homeless, deprived, and vulnerable local people.  Our office is now a donation point for essential items like food, coats, toiletries, and sleeping bags. If you would like to help, keep an eye on our socials for a list of the most urgently needed items and drop your donations to our office.
Some of the flock will also be rolling up their sleeves and volunteering at the centre, because giving back is what community is all about.

Clacton Food Bank

Did ewe know that once upon a time, food donations from the public kept our local food banks fully stocked, but in recent years, demand has risen, and food prices have increased, meaning many food banks now have to buy food just to keep shelves filled.
We are very proud to be supporting Clacton Food Bank, donating essential items and using our platform to help spread the word about the amazing work they do for families in need across our community. Read more about what they do here:

If you would like to help, there is a brilliant app that shows live updates of what is most urgently needed (spoiler alert: it usually isn’t pasta!). You can check it as you do your weekly shop to make sure your donations make the biggest impact.

Download the app using the links below and together we can make sure no one in Clacton goes hungry.
